Why On The Map Digital Exists
Most local trades get their work by word of mouth. That works right up until the customer who’s never heard of you goes to Google instead.
What turns up then is usually one of three things. A website built years ago that doesn’t work properly on a phone. A Google listing nobody has touched since the day it was created. Or nothing at all, and the job goes to whoever paid an agency £3,000.
None of that says anything about the quality of the work. It just means somebody else was easier to find.

- You own everything. Your domain and hosting are bought in your name from day one. If you leave, you take it all with you and the site keeps working.
- Every price is published. They’re all on the Services & Pricing page. The price quoted to you in writing is the price you pay.
- Full refund before we start. If we haven’t begun the work, you get your money back. No questions.
- We’ll tell you when not to buy. If repairs would cost close to the price of a new site, we’ll say so. If your website is fine as it is, the free Website Health Check will tell you that and we’ll leave you to it.

Your domain and hosting are set up in your name and remain under your control. Once your website is paid for, it belongs to you. No lock-in and no surprises.
If you’d rather not deal with updates and backups yourself, the Website Care Plan handles it for £59 a month. It’s optional, and your site carries on working either way.
