Fixed price agreed in writing before any work starts; the quote comes from the Website Health Check or Audit findings. All work under £250 is paid in full upfront; any work £250 and over requires a 50% deposit, with the balance on completion. We will provide a delivery timescale at the quotation stage, once we know the amount of work involved. Once your site is working properly, the Website Care Plan keeps it that way from £59 a month.

Fix or Rebuild Website?

If the total cost to fix all identified problems exceeds 50% of the cost to rebuild your website from scratch, we will recommend a new build with our Starter Website package. Often, this is the smarter route when your existing website has numerous problems. Sometimes the honest answer is that repairs aren’t worth it.

Not Included in This Service

The Website Improvement Service covers repairs and improvements to your existing site. It doesn’t include a full redesign, a new website build, extensive copywriting, e-commerce or booking systems, Google Business Profile optimisation, or ongoing monthly maintenance.

That doesn’t mean we can’t help with those – they’re separate services, quoted separately. If a rebuild is the better option, that’s a Starter Website, and we’ll tell you before you’ve spent anything on repairs.

Website repair costs start from £95. Every website is different, so we quote a fixed price in writing before any work begins, based on what your Free Website Health Check or Professional Website Audit finds. You will know the full cost in advance – no hourly rates running in the background and no invoice at the end that’s bigger than you expected. Anything under £250 is paid in full before we start; anything from £250 upwards takes a 50% deposit, with the balance due on completion.

Yes, and it’s most of what we do. You don’t need to explain what happened to whoever built it – a lot of the sites we’re asked to look at were set up by someone who’s since moved on or stopped replying. Most are WordPress, which we work with every day, but we’ll take a look either way and tell you honestly whether we can help before you pay anything.

We agree on the timescale with you when we quote, because it depends entirely on what needs doing. A broken contact form and a handful of dead links are a very different job from rebuilding your mobile layout and reworking every page title on the site. We won’t give you a number before we’ve looked, then quietly miss it.

Sometimes the honest answer is that repairs aren’t worth it. Our rule is simple: if fixing your existing website would cost close to the price of a new one, we’ll tell you so and recommend a Starter Website instead. We’d rather be straight with you than take payment for repairs and have you pay again in six months. If your site is fundamentally sound and just needs attention, repairs are almost always the better value – and that’s what we’ll recommend.

No. Everything we do is designed to improve how search engines read your website, not disrupt it – better page titles, cleaner heading structure, faster loading and working internal links all help. If any page addresses need to change, we put redirects in place so nothing is lost. What we can’t do is promise you a particular position in Google’s results; nobody honestly can, and that’s Google’s decision rather than ours.

No. We work on your website wherever it currently lives. If we do need access to your hosting to carry out the work, that’s a login you give us and can revoke whenever you like – your domain and hosting stay in your name and under your control throughout. We don’t hold anything hostage to ongoing work.
