Website Maintenance & Support
A website is not a one-off job. Plugins go out of date, forms quietly stop working, and backups matter most when something breaks.
Our Website Care Plan is straightforward website maintenance for local businesses. Most website maintenance services arrive as a menu of tiers with a lot of small print underneath. This one is a single price: £59 a month, rolling, no contract to sign and nothing locked away from you.

Why Websites Need Maintenance
Nothing on a website fails loudly. That is the whole problem.
A WordPress site is a theme plus a stack of plugins, and every one of them gets updated by whoever wrote it – sometimes monthly. Leave them alone, and two things happen. First, the old versions become the way in, because the security holes in them are published openly for anyone who cares to look. Second, when you finally do update, twelve months of changes land at once and something breaks.
Meanwhile, the small stuff drifts. A contact form stops sending, and nobody notices until a customer calls up asking why you never got back to them. A page gets deleted, and the link pointing to it sits there, dead. A certificate lapses and Chrome starts warning visitors that your site is not secure.
None of it is dramatic. All of it costs you enquiries, and every bit of it is avoidable. That is all website maintenance really is: someone checking the site every month so the small problems stay small.
What’s Included in the Care Plan
Nine things, every month, for £59. Many website support plans stop at updates and leave you to spot the consequences yourself. Here is what each one of ours actually means:
Updates & Backup
Security & Monitoring
Content Changes
Anything beyond the two changes is charged at £30 an hour, always agreed with you before we start. We would rather quote you for ten minutes’ work than surprise you with an invoice.
What Website Maintenance Costs
£59 a month
Billed monthly in advance. It rolls month to month, so there is no minimum term and no contract to be tied into. Thirty days’ written notice by email is all we need – you don’t have to ring anyone up and be talked out of it.
Two things sit outside the £59 a month
Larger sites and e-commerce shops need more looking after than a five-page trades website, so we quote those individually. If that’s you, ask and we will give you a fixed figure.
WordPress Maintenance & Updates
We build on WordPress, and most of the sites we look after are WordPress, so our WordPress maintenance packages are built around how WordPress actually goes wrong.
The pattern is nearly always the same. A site is built well, handed over, and then nobody touches it for two years. The plugins fall a dozen versions behind.
The PHP version used by the hosting company is updated, and the old plugins stop working. Somebody eventually clicks “update all”; the site goes white, and that is the phone call we get.
You don’t need to move your hosting to us, and we would rather you didn’t. We work on your site wherever it currently lives. If we need access, that is a login you give us and can take away whenever you like.

What’s Not Included
We would rather be clear about this up front than have you assume.
The Care Plan does not cover new pages, website redesigns, blog writing or graphic design. It does not include emergency out-of-hours support, and it does not cover your hosting fees or domain renewals.
Already broken? That is a repair job, not maintenance. Our Website Repair Service starts at £95 and fixes what is actually wrong, with a fixed price agreed in writing first. Plenty of clients start there and move on to the Care Plan once the site is working properly again.
No website yet, or beyond saving? Take a look at our website packages, which start at £495.
You Own Everything
Your domain name and your hosting account are bought in your name and stay under your control from day one. We never register them to ourselves.
That matters more than it sounds. The most common reason people come to us is that whoever built their site has gone quiet, and they cannot get at their own domain to do anything about it. We are not interested in holding your business hostage to a monthly fee.
If you leave, you take everything with you and the site keeps working.
Website Maintenance Across Northamptonshire & Beyond
Our website maintenance services cover local businesses in Northampton, Kettering, Wellingborough, Bedford, Milton Keynes, Corby and Daventry, and right across Northamptonshire and Bedfordshire.
We do website maintenance remotely, so where you are doesn’t affect how well it works. It does mean that when you would rather talk something through face-to-face, we are close enough to do it.
